Time management: I feel i have done a substancial amount of work, however i only uploaded it to my blog, and not the group blog. Now i am aware of this, i will make sure everything i post on my blog, i also upload onto the group one.
Some of the group work is incomplete, this is also down to time management, as we havent allocated certain tasks to people. We are missing the Production companies, BBFC ratings, Iconic sounds, history of a thriller (still to be uploaded), iconic directors (still to be uploaded), Storyboard/9shot card scene (still to be uploaded) , and there are a few more things still to be uploaded to the group blog that are on the individual ones we have.
We could have made our research more interesting by making videos instead of writing about it. This could be something we consider to change on our blogs.
If i were to mark the group blog, i would give us a 5/20. This is because we have missing research, and there is minimal work on the blog. A 5/20 would mean we are at Level 1 on the marking scheme.
I know who was allocated what, and what still needs to be allocated. I feel the research that was done was detailed, however not presented in an interesting way. The creativity of the research is very dull. I feel as the blog is at the moment, it does not look like our group has done 4 hours a week for 5 weeks, by 3 students.
On my individual blog, i gave done a lot of the research and completed most tasks, however there are some missing, therefore taking that into consideration, i would mark myself an 8/20, which would come under Level 2 of the marking scheme.
I feel i have included lots of detail in my work, but i haven't been very creative when presenting the work, i just wrote about it, whereas i could have made a video of the research i collected. I feel i have learned from the research i have done, and i didn't just copy and paste the work from Wikipedia. I collected information from a range of different websites and wrote up my own point of view and in my own words.
I could have put more detail into my work, as well as making it more interesting.
The next stages i will take after today will be to upload the work i have on my blog onto the group blog, and with some help, make a few videos for the research i have already done. This will give us more experience with making videos, and using the software and also make our research more interesting.
What have i done well?
I am proud of how quickly i picked up how to use finial cut pro. I enjoyed editing the preliminary task, and the seven sequence. I feel i have learned more about composition and how the camera angles are used in films to create power and authority. I can ow recognise in other films/movies the different angles and techniques they use.... like 180 degree rule, rule of 3rds, over the shoulder shot, and shot reverse shot.
Whats missing off each blog....
Individual:
Seven Sequence (done but not uploaded)
Storyboard of 9 frame analysis (done but cannot be found)
Group:
Production Companies
BBFC ratings
Iconic directors (done but not uploaded)
Typical synopsis
Iconic Sounds (half done, but not uploaded)
Mood Board (done but not uploaded)
